Year of establishment: 1989
Upholding the Christian education principle “glorifying God and edifying men”, we nurture children’s development in the six domains of spirituality, ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics based on Biblical truths. We raise children into confident, self-respecting and happy individuals who enjoy love and being loved.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
During the period from 1982 to 1983, Tai Po Christian and Missionary Alliance Church saw the need to expand its facilities as it had been experiencing significant growth. Given that there was a high population density in housing estates, opening a kindergarten at a housing estate would allow the Church to use the campus as church venue for Sunday worship services to accommodate its growing attendance. Therefore, in 1989, the Church established Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Tai Wo Kindergarten at Tai Po Estate in Tai Po.
We are committed to promoting moral education and enhancing children’s self-reflection skills and responsibility. We join hands with parents to help children nurture positive values and incorporate moral education into their everyday lives. We also promote artistic development in children. Children are encouraged to use different materials to create art and are taught a variety of skills to create art, through which they will experience a boost in their creative thinking and learn to show appreciation to themselves and others. Through creating art and sharing their ideas, they will develop an aesthetic sense and creativity, learn to share with others and appreciate life.
Covering 863 square metres, our campus boasts a spacious, comfortable environment with a full range of facilities – 8 classrooms, a music room, a playroom, a gross motor activity room, a dance area, a reading corner and more. Our school is also equipped with a wonderful selection of educational toys, different kinds of audio-visual equipment and teaching tools to support students’ learning and different activities.
