About Us

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was established in 1997 for the following purposes:

  • To promote close communication between the school and families;
  • To help parents build a friendly relationship with teachers and other parents;
  • To provide a platform for both teachers and parents to discuss matters they concerned with and join hands for the general welfare of students.

A range of activities were held in the current school year, including a parents’ talk, a parent-child trip, a parent education programme, a storytelling workshop, a Christmas party and a Lunar New Year gathering. There are a variety of activities suitable for both parents and children to join together. Through the PTA, it is hoped that the school can create a partnership with parents; promote active parent involvement in children’s development and enable parents to build a harmonious relationship with their children; join hands with parents to cope with the problems and challenges in parenting and build a strong foundation for children’s development.
